Strong Delusion
The Bible tells us that in the last days of time before the Lord Jesus Christ descends from the heavens to earth in His resurrected body, that there would be a falling away from the truth by deceitful men. This mystery of iniquity is already at work in the world. When men receive not the love of the truth, they will go after fables and all deceivableness to follow after lies. The Bible says in 2 Thessalonians 2:11, “And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:”
God is serious about the truth and rejection of His truth can be measured by the delusion of man. The more man rejects, the more deceived he is to believe lies. The more man acknowledges God and His truth, the more light God gives to him.
One of the grandest illusions ever perpetrated is the scheme to bring extraterrestrial beings into legitimacy of modern scientific debate. A quick search of “UFO” on Google produced 57,000,000 hits! There have been movies and books written on the subject. The subject of aliens is increasingly the center of our national debate. I will not debate the existence of extraterrestrials, (I believe they are a part of the heavenly host in Genesis 6:1-4 and Jude 6, 7) however I will show you the results of rejecting God.
It makes perfect sense to me that at the catching away of the saints, otherwise known as the rapture, those delusional souls will now blame the chaos that ensues upon ET.
